siamese cats

Hatbox
Hatbox was born in Jan 01 and is a cinnamon point of great character and beauty. She is a placid and good tempered cat, with no true understanding of feline dignity. She will let anyone do anything with her, which is great with small children. She has never been known to bite or scratch, but her language can be colorful when roused.

Originally called Hattie she became Hatbox due to her excellent appetite. Hatbox adores kittens and usually moves in with Miss B's litter a few days after birth, when she becomes an indispensable aunt. She has even produced milk for B's kittens in the past. At these times Hatbox tends to model a fuller figure as she feels she must keep her strength up. Hatbox is very dextrous and can open round handled
doors at times.

Hatbox has had her own kittens in the past, after falling passionately in love with the stud cat, but sadly suffered from a condition that meant she required a caesarian to give birth, so she has been neutered. Hatbox reared three beautiful kittens however.

Miss Piggy Malone,
Piggy is named for her vocal range and keen desire to sing. She often sounds like a squealing piglet and has been called 'Tosca' by the neighbours. The other part of her name (Malone) is in honour of her detecting skills. (Piggy Malone was a detective character in the Two Ronnies). Poor Piggy has always known that somebody is out to get her, and spends a lot of her time investigating.

Piggy was born with this paranoid view, and utterly refused to go to her new home with a delightful couple who only wanted to spoil and adore her. They took another kitten and we kept Piggy. Despite her pessimistic opinions about humanity Piggy is extremely affectionate. The dilemmas caused by this duality keep her slim and svelte (shall I be stroked? or will they kill me? decisions, decisions).

When Piggy reached the right age she was introduced to a charming gentleman siamese. Sadly Piggy decided this was a fate worse than death and turned her face to the wall. After several days at the vet recovering, she was neutered. Piggy has views about kittens, and her language, when kitten care becomes too much, tests the full range of her remarkable voice.
